DevOps Engineer

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Cloud/DevOps Engineer to support the development, deployment, and operation of modern web and scientific applications used by researchers and clinicians at the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) at the NIH.

Requirements

• Deploy and manage cloud resources with Terraform
• Read, use, and contribute to existing in-house Hashicorp configuration language (HCL) codebases
• Monitor and Manage AWS Cloud based infrastructure
• Understand existing and future project specifications with a view to implementing their functionality within the cloud appropriately
• Learn and become familiar with in-house CI/CD automations and best practices
• Understand security boundaries, specifically in relation to Publicly Identifiable Information (PII) and respond to vulnerabilities
