Senior QA Automation Engineer

Guidepoint's Engineering team is seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer to design, build, and maintain a test automation framework, automate test cases, and analyze issues related to automated and/or load testing.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in a QA Automation engineering role
• Experience with writing test scripts from scratch for manual testing
• Strong experience in automated testing practices and tools — Selenium or other similar tools and Web Service testing
• Good understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), experience with a variety of testing techniques (Agile, Waterfall, SCRUM)
• Experience with performance/load testing
• Previous exposure to a ticketing system (Jira preferred)
• Strong hands-on programming skills with the Java programming language
• In-depth knowledge of SOA frameworks, processes, strategies, and approaches
• Experienced with CI/CD/Devops methodologies/tools and practical implementation of DevOps processes
• Degree in an engineering discipline (Computer Science/Computer Engineering/information Technology/MIS)
