Job Description
Our Tax Department is currently seeking a Tax Associate with 1-2 years of public accounting and tax-related experience. The ideal candidate should have a solid educational background and a strong interest in pursuing a public accounting and tax career.
Requirements
- 1-2 years of public accounting and tax-related experience
- Ability to prepare a working trial balance and make year-end adjusting entries
- A broad understanding of tax law with specialized knowledge in one or more areas
- Experience preparing tax returns for high-net-worth individuals, corporations, partnerships, LLCs, and trusts
- CPA eligible or in the process of obtaining a CPA certification
- Proficiency in Excel and Word
- Experience with tax software is preferred (e.g., CCH Axcess)
- Excellent research, writing, verbal, and written communication skills
