Heavy Equipment Operator

Role Overview

The Harrisburg Division of the H&K Group, Inc. is seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to operate heavy equipment in order to achieve daily production goals. The position requires working efficiently while prioritizing health and safety.

What You Will Do

Operate heavy equipment, perform daily checks, maintain equipment, and notify shop foreman of maintenance or repairs.

Requirements

• One-year certificate from an accredited college or technical school
• Six months of related experience and/or training
• Able to pass practical skills test for heavy equipment
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to understand and carry out detailed instructions
• Problem solving
• Ability to fit test & utilize appropriate PPE
• Ability to meet physical requirements
