The Department Head of Sound is responsible for leading the sound department at Hale Centre Theatre, ensuring exceptional audio quality, and aural cohesion across multiple venues. The role requires technical mastery and a passion for the art form.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Theatre, Audio Engineering, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of professional theatrical sound experience
• Demonstrated experience mixing live musicals and executing cue-based sound operations
• Expert working knowledge of digital mixing consoles, wireless microphone systems, and playback software
• Experience managing RF coordination for large-scale wireless counts
• Strong knowledge of signal flow, system design, acoustic tuning, and audio network fundamentals
