Principal Engineer - Java, Microservice, Kubernetes, Cloud backend development at HARMAN Automotive. Help shape and drive Harman’s cloud-based automotive software development toolchains. Lead to create and implement backend solution for CQuence Loop, design and implement a cloud-based virtual development platform for automotive software development, and own and deliver the Server backend solution for cloud-based virtual development platform.

Requirements

• 10 year experience in building Java services for cloud backend
• Expert at defining and implementing API standards
• Individual contributor for Cloud Backend
• Experience in Container orchestration (Kubernetes), Microservices, Cloud Networking, Disaster recovery, Load balancing, high availability
• Worked in multiple clouds like AWS, GCP and has gone through making production ready of multiple SaaS applications
• Experience working with AWS/Google public cloud
• GIT, Gerrit, github, Jenkins, Travis, Puppet, Chef, and Ansible experience
• Strong problem-solving skills and awareness of DevOps and Agile principles
• Expertise in scripting languages like python, Ruby
