Senior Structural Engineer

Hatch is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join the Project Delivery Group in Pittsburgh, PA. The ideal candidate will have 10-15 years of experience in structural design, project management, and leadership roles. The role involves leading teams, supporting complex projects, and ensuring adherence to engineering standards and procedures.

Requirements

• 10-15 years of experience in the design of steel and/or concrete structures, project management, and other leadership roles
• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering with a focus on structural design
• PE License in Civil/Structural engineering
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary project team
• Experience with supervising, mentoring, and motivating a team of engineers and designers
• Experience with the design of steel and concrete structures
• Experience with finite element analysis programs such as STAAD.Pro
• Strong knowledge of design codes and standards
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent organizational skills to manage working on multiple projects simultaneously
