Injection Molding Operator 1st Shift

Role Overview

This position reports to the Production Supervisor and is responsible for operating a plastic molding machine to mold and form thermoplastic materials. The Injection Molding Operator will work in a team environment and be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work area.

What You Will Do

Operate or tend plastic molding machine, examine molded product for surface defects, remove product from mold or conveyor, and clean and reload mold.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Ability to understand written and verbal instructions in English
• Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively
• Able to read and understand work instructions
• Must possess a strong attention to detail
• Must be able to tolerate long periods of standing
• Ability to regularly lift and move up to 25 lbs. and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
• Able to perform basic mathematical computations
• Good verbal communication skills
