Machine Operator 2nd Shift

Role Overview

This position reports to the Fabrication Supervisor and is responsible for operating various machines, including Fastener Insertion Machine, Semi-Automatic Welding Equipment, Wide Belt Sander, and Vibratory Tumbling Machines. The Machine Operator will work in a team environment and be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work area.

What You Will Do

The Machine Operator will set up and operate machines, inspect parts and products for defects, follow work instructions and policies, and process orders as dictated by the production schedule.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Ability to understand written and verbal instructions in English
• Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively
• Able to read and understand Engineering prints
• Is date-driven in support of production schedules
• Capable of set-up and running of complex machines
• Must possess a strong attention to detail
• Must be able to tolerate long periods of standing
• Ability to regularly lift and move up to 50 lbs. and occasionally up to 100 lbs.
• Proficient computer skills
• Able to perform basic mathematical computations
• Good verbal communication skills
