Order Picker 2nd Shift

Role Overview

This position is responsible for reading and analyzing orders to be fulfilled, selecting finished goods, and staging for packaging. The Order Picker will work in the Shipping department and report to the Shipping Supervisor. The role requires working 2nd shift, Monday through Thursday, from 3:00pm to 1:00am.

What You Will Do

The Order Picker will read and analyze orders, select finished goods, stage for packaging, and update order notes in ERP. They will also inform the Supervisor or Team Lead of any issues with order fulfillment or product shortages.

The ideal candidate will be able to read and interpret quality documents, apply common sense reasoning, and safely operate a forklift and other material handling equipment. They will also be able to lift and move up to 50lbs regularly and occasionally lift and move up to 100lbs.

Requirements

• Able to read and interpret quality documents
• Able to apply common sense reasoning to carry out instructions
• Able to safely operate a forklift and other material handling equipment
• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent experience
• Employee must regularly be able to lift and move up to 50lbs
• Employee must occasionally be able to lift and move up to 100lbs
• Able to tolerate long periods of standing
