Production Worker 1st Shift

Role Overview

This production worker position is responsible for sorting parts, staging work orders, and operating machinery in a manufacturing environment. The role reports to the Production Supervisor - Fabrication and requires a high school diploma or equivalent, mechanical aptitude, and ability to work in a team environment.

What You Will Do

The production worker will sort parts from work bins, stage WIP for Fabrication work areas, identify and deliver work orders, and operate forklifts to assist in material movement. They will also fabricate parts using various machines, assist with loading and unloading machinery, and execute material issues/receipts in the ERP system.

This role requires a strong attention to detail, ability to work in a team environment, and proficiency in computer skills. The ideal candidate will be able to tolerate long periods of standing, regularly lift and move up to 50 lbs, and occasionally up to 100 lbs.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Mechanically inclined with experience using basic hand tools
• Ability to understand written and verbal instructions in English
• Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively
• Ability to read and interpret work instructions, production documents, and engineering drawings
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to regularly lift and move up to 50 lbs. and occasionally up to 100 lbs.
