Quality Control Inspector 2nd Shift

Role Overview

This Quality Control Inspector 2nd Shift position reports to the Director of Quality and Research and is responsible for performing inspections to support factory production, providing front-line support to production, and supporting investigations into quality issues.

What You Will Do

Inspect materials, products, and work for conformance to specifications, analyze test data, record inspection or test data, reject products and materials not meeting specifications, and assist in creating MRRs, CAPAs, and engineering change requests.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable presenting findings and recommendations, have experience using calipers, gauges, and related inspection equipment, and be detail-oriented with excellent organizational and record keeping skills.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Technical Certification, a plus
• Experience using calipers, gauges, and related inspection equipment in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to read and interpret work instructions, production documents, and engineering drawings
• Must be detail-oriented, with excellent organizational and record keeping skills
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with an emphasis on Microsoft Excel
• Corrected 20/20 vision
• Ability to understand written and verbal instructions in English
• Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively
• Must be able to tolerate long periods of sitting and standing
• Ability to occasionally lift and move up to 50 lbs.
