Aviation Project Manager

At HDR, we're looking for an Aviation Project Manager to lead multi-discipline airport projects, including airside and landside projects with high technical complexity. The ideal candidate will have extensive airport engineering and construction experience, with strong leadership and project management skills.

Requirements

• Marketing, planning, directing, and monitoring all aspects of multi-discipline airport projects
• Leading a design team, reviewing/checking their deliverables, and mentoring staff
• Developing strong production capabilities with Task Managers and discipline leads
• Serving as the client manager for selected key clients
• Establishing client relations and being involved with marketing, contractual, design, and production meetings
• Overseeing interdisciplinary teams and providing review and guidance to project team
• Managing services during construction efforts on active construction projects
• Implementing QA/QC procedures and training for personnel
• Coordinating projects with regulatory agencies and serving as a liaison between clients and agencies
• Leading the implementation of HDR's Health and Safety program on projects
• Instructing, mentoring, and assisting junior staff in their career development
