Job Description
HDR is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join their Building Engineering Services Group. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering with an Electrical emphasis, a minimum of 10 years experience in electrical design of buildings, and a professional engineering license recognized by the licensing board for the location of the position offered. The role will involve coordinating electrical work with a multidiscipline team, establishing client relations, and participating in design and production meetings.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering with an Electrical emphasis
- Minimum 10 years experience in electrical design of buildings
- Professional engineering license recognized by the licensing board for the location of the position offered
- Extensive knowledge of building electrical power, lighting and signal design, including life safety systems and building management systems
- Strong computer knowledge of Microsoft Office and AutoCAD, and electrical design software
