Senior Electrical Power Engineer

HDR is seeking a Senior Electrical Power Engineer to lead teams for power generation design projects and support as Owner's Engineer and/or Advisor. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in power generation and distribution, protection and motor control design, power system studies, construction and equipment specification development, and balance of plant designs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an ABET accredited program with an Electrical Power emphasis.
• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Control Systems Engineering with an Electrical Power emphasis.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in electrical power generation design.
• Design experience with simple cycle and combined cycle power generation.
• Previous experience with an engineering power consulting or EPC firm desired.
