Job Description
HDR is seeking a Senior Environmental Planner to manage the preparation of large-scale CEQA & NEPA documents and supervise assigned staff. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in environmental science or related field and 10+ years of experience in environmental technical writing and CEQA & NEPA document preparation.
Requirements
- Manage the preparation of large-scale CEQA & NEPA documents
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of assigned sector
- Track personnel actions and staff development
- Lead sector quality control
- Provide hands-on mentoring and team participation
- Work with client development leadership to prioritize marketing and business development efforts
- Champion a quality-culture within the sector organization
- Direct the technical messaging and professional attendance at professional organizations and industry events
- Promote the Drive to Zero culture
- Interpret, implement, and enforce company policies
