Substation Engineer

HDR is looking for a Substation Engineer to join their team of Power Delivery professionals. The Substation Engineer will support physical substation, protection, and control engineering for High Voltage Electric Utility projects. The role will include designing substation layouts, preparing scopes, schedules, and budgets, and coordinating design activities with other departments.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering with an Electrical emphasis
• Previous experience in electrical design of buildings (lighting/power/systems)
• Professional engineering license recognized by the licensing board for the location of the position offered
• Strong computer skills using AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, Revit, SKM, AGI and Easy Power
• Attitude and commitment to being an active participant of HDR's employee-owned culture
