Traffic Engineer

HDR is looking for a Traffic Engineer to join our North Carolina Transportation Business Group. The role will involve working as part of a traffic team, preparing traffic safety study reports, analyzing and optimizing traffic system timings, and presenting technical findings to clients.

Requirements

• Work as part of a traffic team under the direction of the Project Engineer/Manager
• Prepare traffic safety study reports, intersection and interchange operational analyses
• Analyze, optimize, implement, and fine tune traffic system timings along major corridors
• Perform field visits
• Write and prepare reports
• Present technical findings and project updates to clients
