Traffic Engineer

At HDR, we are searching for a dynamic, diverse, and talented traffic engineer to join our team. As a technical resource, you will perform detail checks and work closely with junior staff and technicians on plan development. You will be an integral part of the area Traffic and Planning team and will support Project Managers with the development of fee proposals, providing direction to internal project team, on-time submission delivery to clients, and financial monitoring of projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• Experience with traffic analysis and traffic engineering/design
• Professional engineering license recognized by the licensing board for the location of the position offered
• Detailed hands on experience conducting traffic design using CAD platforms
• Detailed hands on experience conducting operational analysis using a variety of analysis and modeling tools
• Detailed hands on experience conducting safety analysis using a variety of safety software tools
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel, Word
• Strong verbal and written skills
