Transportation Engineer

HDR is seeking a Transportation Engineer to coordinate designs, manage projects, and engage with stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a passion for innovation, collaboration, and exceeding client expectations.

Requirements

• Act as a transportation engineer as needed, including preparing road alignments, cross-sections, active transportation design, grading models, drainage designs, storm sewer network layouts, quantity estimates, cost estimates, project documentation, and specifications
• Coordinate designs with the rest of the multidisciplinary team
• Assist the Project Manager in the day-to-day coordination of projects
• Support engagement externally and negotiation with key project stakeholders and clients
• Prepare work plans and schedules in coordination with project managers and other disciplines
• Assist in pursuit of opportunities and preparation of proposals
