Job Description
As the Head of Accounting, you will lead the accounting department and develop processes to ensure quality, orderliness, and timeliness. You will be responsible for creating tax returns, overseeing payroll and salary accounting, and ensuring reliable alignments.
Requirements
- Completed business administration studies with a focus on accounting/finance/taxation or comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience in financial and accounting services
- Sound knowledge of the German Commercial Code (HGB)
- Sound knowledge in relevant tax matters (e.g. value-added tax, corporate tax, tax exemption)
- Analytical thinking, structured working method, and high reliability
- Team orientation and a professional, clear communication style
