Primary Therapist - Substance Abuse Treatment

The Primary Therapist is responsible for managing client caseloads, including weekly one on one sessions, bio/psycho/social assessments, and treatment planning, as well as communicating effectively with the treatment team to ensure safe, quality care is provided to all clients.

Requirements

• Develop individualized treatment plans that address clients' unique needs, goals, and challenges.
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions to clients, utilizing various modalities.
• Facilitate group therapy sessions
• Engage in family therapy sessions to address family dynamics, educate on addiction, promote healthy communication, and support the recovery process.
• Collaborate with the clinical, medical and operational team members to ensure coordinated care.
• Document client progress, treatment interventions, and any significant observations in a timely and consistent manner.
• Assess and manage crises or emergencies that may arise, applying appropriate intervention strategies to ensure client safety.
• Participate in treatment planning meetings: Actively contribute to treatment team meetings, providing clinical insights, progress updates, and recommendations for the ongoing care of clients.
• Engage in ongoing professional development opportunities and training to enhance clinical skills and maintain licensure and certifications.
