Primary Therapist - Substance Abuse Treatment

The Primary Therapist is responsible for managing client caseloads, conducting weekly one on one sessions, bio/psycho/social assessments, treatment planning, and maintaining contact with clients' family members and leading group facilitation.

Requirements

• Master's level education in a related field or related experience in the substance abuse field.
• LCAS, CADC, or LCMHC certification.
• Knowledge of alcohol and chemical dependency treatment, rehabilitation programs, and dual diagnosis experience.
• Strong communication, caring, and compassionate skills.
• Active listening and conflict-resolution skills.
• Ability to document client progress and treatment interventions in a timely and consistent manner.
