Nurse Practitioner

Nurse Practitioner position providing Primary Health Care services to assigned populations in collaboration with Primary Health Care Teams, physicians and health care provider team members. The position requires experience as RN (NP) in a Primary Health Care setting and a Master of Nursing - Nurse Practitioner (MN-NP) degree.

Requirements

• Three (3) years nursing experience
• Experience as RN (NP) in a Primary Health Care setting
• One year experience in community needs assessment/development/health promotion
• Master of Nursing - Nurse Practitioner (MN-NP) degree
• Valid Class 5 driver's license
• Basic Life Support Level C Certificate (BLS-C)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certificate (ACLS)
• Certification in recognized Primary Care NP equivalent program
• Decision making skills

• Leadership skills
• Organizational skills
• Ability to develop and deliver formal education programs
• Knowledge in community development
• Knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a multi-disciplinary team

• Knowledge in health promotion and prevention strategies

Benefits

• Salary range $52,590 - $62,910 per year
