Software Engineer in Test

Role Overview

HealthEdge is looking for a Software Engineer in Test to lead and assure quality for UI modernization initiative of our flagship product, Health Rules Payer. Our Software Engineers in Test are embedded alongside developers, using our latest in-house automation framework in Java to create reliable and comprehensive automation tests.

What You Will Do

Develop automation in existing tools and frameworks, execute both white- and black-box testing, create and execute test plans and test cases, identify testing gaps and process flaws, and contribute to DevOps work.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional experience working in a software development environment
• Ability to write automated test code and tools
• Expert in both UI test automation tools and API testing
• Experience with performance testing
• Experience using a broad range of test automation frameworks
• Proficiency with Object Oriented languages
• Proficiency with scripting languages
• Working with relation databases
• Familiarity with SDLC practices of Agile
• Experience working with Devops tools
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with enterprise architecture and SOA best practices
• Strong experience with distributed source code control systems
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Great team player and collaborates well with Onshore/Offshore teams
