Job Description
The Accountant II is responsible for the proper and timely recording of financial transactions in the general ledger in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles. Other responsibilities include completion of billings to outside vendors, application of subsequent receipts, maintenance of fixed asset records, analyzing account transactions, preparing account reconciliations, and preparing accounting statements and reports.
Requirements
- Four-year college degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum 2 years experience in related position
- Working knowledge of GAAP and internal controls
- Strong spreadsheet (Excel) skills
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
