DIETARY

The Dietary position prepares food for patients, employees, and visitors, maintaining food safety and sanitation practices. Responsibilities include preparing meals, operating kitchen equipment, cleaning and maintaining the kitchen, and assisting with catering and supervising staff. This role is critical for ensuring high-quality and safe food service within the hospital.

Requirements

• Prepares, seasons, and cooks food for patients, employees, visitors, and caterings
• Reviews menus to determine food quantities and schedules
• Prepares food as per recipes and therapeutic diets
• Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen and cafeteria
• Supervises dietary staff in absence of the Director of Dietary
• Assists with staffing, complaints, and special duties
