Middle School Special Education Intensive Support Teacher (2026-2027)

Hebrew Public is seeking a skilled and student-centered Middle School Special Education Intensive Support Teacher to lead a small, structured classroom serving students with moderate disabilities. The ideal candidate brings experience in self-contained, autism support, or life skills settings and is excited to support students in building both academic and functional skills.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
• Pennsylvania teaching certification in Special Education (K-8 or K-12)
• Experience in self-contained, autism support, or life skills classrooms
• Demonstrated ability to deliver small-group, highly differentiated instruction
• Experience supporting students with moderate to significant disabilities, including autism
• Experience leading or directing paraprofessionals or support staff
• Strong classroom management skills and ability to create structured learning environments
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Experience in urban, public charter, or Title I schools is a plus
