Plant Operator

Role Overview

Monitors and operates plant equipment to maintain safe, efficient, and continuous plant operations. Conducts rounds to check conditions of plant equipment and records operational data on log sheets. Investigates changes in instrument readings and equipment operation. Recognizes and mitigates operating difficulties to minimize plant downtime.

Makes adjustments to control systems to optimize performance. Works various shifts and overtime as needed.
