Solution Architect Finance - D365 Finance & Operations

Role Overview

The Solution Architect Finance - D365 Finance & Operations is responsible for defining, governing, and evolving the architectural landscape across the finance domain within D365 F&O platform and its related applications, integrations, and data flows. This role ensures that Finance solutions are scalable, secure, compliant, and fully aligned with business strategy and enterprise architecture.

What You Will Do

Design and optimize D365 F&O solutions across customizations, integrations, reporting, and automation using X++, Azure Integration Services, and Power Platform. Lead full cycle ERP delivery including LCS management, RSAT automation, data migration, UAT, Go-live, and hyper care to maintain long-term system reliability and scalability.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field
• 12+ years working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations or AX in architecture, lead solutions design, or senior technical roles
• Knowledge of D365 Finance - GL, AP, AR, FA, Expense Management and PMA
• Knowledge of Manufacturing, Inventory, and Master Planning
• Experience leading large D365 F&O programs involving multi-entity rollouts, complex integrations, and heavy transaction volumes
• Experience customizing Copilot or building AI-driven solutions with Copilot Studio
• Experience in large-scale D365 migrations or upgrades
• Experience with other finance applications like vertex/edicom, exflow, Avalara etc.
• Strong knowledge in.NET, SQL, JavaScript, and extension frameworks
• Strong functional background in finance, and enterprise process improvement, with experience leading UAT, hyper care, and environment management
