Role Overview

The Controller will implement and adhere to corporate financial accounting procedures and internal controls, directing the activities of the accounting and operations staff to achieve division objectives. The position provides decision support through timely and accurate reporting, driving insight and analysis. Work with plant management in developing ongoing business strategy for the facility.

What You Will Do

Supervise the General Accounting Department, ensure corporate financial guidance is implemented, and lead the division's operating performance by preparing financial plans and monitoring expenditures. Analyze sales, cost of sales, margins, scrap, overhead, and ESMA spending, and develop inventory valuations and product costing.

Why It Might Be a Fit

The ideal candidate will have manufacturing accounting and product costing experience, five years of supervisory experience, and seven years of experience in a variety of accounting positions. They will be a self-starter with excellent communication skills and experience with ERP systems.

Requirements

• Manufacturing Accounting and Product Costing experience
• Five years of supervisory experience
• Seven years' experience in a variety/progression of accounting positions
• Internal audit training/experience
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
• MBA preferred
• CMA or CPA preferred
