Ambulatory Specialty Care Director

The Ambulatory Specialty Care Director is the administrative leader responsible for achieving a cost competitive, value driven system of care for the areas assigned to the clinical departments/units/ or service areas. The role is responsible for providing administrative and operational leadership, developing and executing strategic growth plans, and developing and implementing care models/systems that coordinate care for seamless transitions across the continuum.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in applicable field of study for Care Ring/Service Line or enrolled and graduate from a master’s program by the date determined by the Chief Nursing Officer or Vice President, Ambulatory Administration
• Five (5) years of healthcare operations experience in applicable Care Ring/Service Line
• RN licensure required for Inpatient/Hospital Based Care and Critical Care
• Knowledge of business management techniques and principles, project management, finance, and statistics at a level normally acquired through a completion of a master’s degree in applicable field
• Ten (10) years of healthcare operations experience in applicable Care Ring/Service Line
• RN licensure required for Inpatient/Hospital Based Care and Critical Care
