We are seeking a Licensed Mental Health Professional to join our Jail Health Services team. This full-time role will work days (Monday to Friday) and provide direct mental health services to persons living with mental illness.
Requirements
- Participates in multidisciplinary care team rounds
- Provides mental health services including initial and ongoing screening, diagnostic assessment, treatment planning, psychoeducation, psychotherapy services, crisis services, referrals, and discharge/termination planning
- Completes necessary documentation for accurate and timely billing of clinical services provided
- Provides psychoeducation to patients, families, and community organizations as needed
- Provides care coordination including discharge/termination planning
- Provides on-call phone coverage for patient coaching as required
- Provides clinical supervision to graduate-level mental health practitioners in compliance with HHS and regulatory guidelines
- Assists in maintaining standards of accreditation by health management organizations and state licensure/certification
