Clinician - 290 Supportive Housing

Henry Street Settlement is seeking a qualified clinician (LCSW or similar) to provide ongoing counseling services within a supportive housing program located in the Lower East Side of Manhattan.

Requirements

• LCSW or equivalent clinical degree and credentials required
• Minimum of three years of experience working in a mental health, transitional, or supportive housing setting with individuals affected by trauma, chronic homelessness, substance use, mental illness, or domestic violence
• CASAC or CASAC-T credential, or at least three years of experience in a substance use treatment setting preferred
• Demonstrated excellence in problem-solving and advanced crisis intervention, with strong oral and written communication skills, interpersonal, and team-building skills
• Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously while exercising sound judgment, including effectively maintaining a caseload of at least 5 medical and psychiatrically high-risk individuals
• Computer skills required; proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Docs, Adobe Professional and AWARD/Foothold (preferred)
• Bilingual English/Spanish (preferred)
• Candidate must have training in evidence-based practices
