Operations Associate

hermeneutic Investments is a proprietary trading firm and hedge fund seeking an Operations Associate to execute operational workflows, trade lifecycle, digital asset operations, reconciliations, and more. The ideal candidate has 5-7 years of experience in operations at a hedge fund, trading firm, or crypto financial services business and is comfortable in fast-paced, high-stakes environments.

Requirements

• 5–7 years in operations at a hedge fund, trading firm, or crypto financial services business
• Direct experience with digital asset operations — custody, settlements, DeFi workflows — strongly preferred
• Meticulous attention to detail; you're the person who spots the error in row 847 of a spreadsheet
• Comfortable in fast-paced, high-stakes environments where things move quickly and priorities shift
• Structured thinker who can manage multiple workstreams without dropping the ball
• Strong communicator — clear, direct, and proactive across teams
• Exposure to exchange or counterparty operations a bonus
• Bachelor's degree required; finance, technical, or business education preferred
