Job Description
Herschend is seeking a Merchandise Buyer to provide strategic leadership and develop buying plans to attain pre-determined goals. The ideal candidate will have experience in theme park retail, buying support, and data analysis.
Requirements
- Ensure profit targets are met and/or exceeded
- Develop concepts and strategies for assigned buying categories
- Identify and act on merchandise trends
- Analyze business and react quickly to rate of sale
- Maintain inventory turnover and gross margin return on investment (GMROI) to budgeted levels
