HW Product Quality Engineer

Role Overview

HW Product Quality Engineer will work in a hybrid model, 2 days a week at the Sunnyvale, CA office location. The role is responsible for operations hardware product quality critical issue management, leading root cause and corrective action activities, and driving continuous improvement.

What You Will Do

The HW Product Quality Engineer will lead hardware product quality escalation for the operations team, independently lead root cause and corrective action activities, and drive root cause corrective actions related to field returns.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent, 5+ years of work experience, and familiarity with printed circuit board assembly (PCBA) process. The candidate should also have excellent problem-solving, analytical, and auditing skills, as well as solid project management skills.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent
• Five or more years work related experience
• Familiarity and understanding of Printed Circuit Board Assembly (PCBA) process
• Knowledge of system box build and configuration processes
• General knowledge of IPC specs (e.g., IPC-A-610) and industry circuit board standards
• Ability to influence, empower and lead multi-functional teams
• Excellent problem-solving/analytical/auditing skills
• Solid project management skills
• Excellent collaboration and influencing skills
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and intercultural skills
