As a Senior Cloud QA Engineer at HPE, you will design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for complex network orchestration, intrusion detection and prevention systems, and cloud deployment network solutions.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of the OSI model and networking protocols, including TCP/IP, UDP, DHCP, HTTP, DNS, and VLANs, as well as familiarity with SAML, SNMP, GRE, IPSEC, Syslog, MDM, and SSH.
- Proficient in route/tunnel orchestration solutions, IDPS, threat modelling, security practices, and Cloud products/IaaS (AWS, Azure).
- Experienced in log analysis, issue debugging, and effective collaboration with cross functional teams to address customer/field issues.
- Expertise in configuring a wide range of security devices, such as firewalls, VPNs, IDPS, switches, and routers.
- Strong proficiency in data networking, encompassing Layer 2/Layer 3 switching, routing, and WLAN technologies.
- Practical experience with configuration and testing of Active Directory, LDAP, and other authentication sources.
- Strong hands-on experience with VMware, KVM, Hyper-V.
- Experience testing Security/Cloud products (AWS, Azure).
- Knowledge/Experience in testing applications for Public Cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Cloud)
- Exposure to container-based technologies and Kubernetes
- System load and performance testing expertise
- Experience with load/performance test systems such as Breaking Point and Spirent.
- System scale, performance and/or solution-level testing experience.
- Strong command of Linux CLI commands and Bash scripting.
- Proficiency in Test automation development using Python, debugging failures, maintenance of scripts.
- Experience in test script development for automated validation using Pytest framework.
