Sr. Data Engineer

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking a Sr. Data Engineer to join their Digital Experience & Automation (DEA) team in Bengaluru, India. The role involves developing, maintaining, and optimizing data pipelines and workflows, designing and implementing data engineering pipelines, and integrating data from diverse sources. The successful candidate will have 7+ years of data analysis and engineering experience, a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, and expertise in advanced web-crawling and scraping methods, data transformation, and SQL data warehouse administration.

Requirements

• 7+ years of data analysis and engineering experience
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field
• Advanced web-crawling and scraping methods
• Data transformation (ETL/ELT) activities
• SQL data warehouse (e.g. Snowflake) working/administration
• Experience with AWS services: S3, Glue, EMR, EC2, RDS, monitoring and IAM
• Kafka, Spark & Kafka Streaming
• Workflow automation (e.g. using Github actions)
• Performing RCA
• Cloud Architectures, Cross Domain Knowledge, Design Thinking, Development Fundamentals, DevOps, Distributed Computing, Microservices Fluency, Full Stack Development, Security-First Mindset, User Experience (UX)
