Job Description
Hillel Day School of Metropolitan Detroit is seeking an innovative and visionary Rav Beit Sefer (School Rabbi) to join their Leadership Team. The Rabbi will serve as the School's Rabbinic leader, supporting the school’s mission and leading community outreach initiatives. Key responsibilities include religious education, leading religious services, and representing the school in various community functions.
Requirements
- Rabbinic Ordination
- Judaic teaching experience
- Expertise in Jewish texts (Tanakh, Mishnah, Talmud)
- Hebrew proficiency
- Knowledge of Jewish holidays
- Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
