Job Description
The Family Peer Advocate I will empower families and assist in navigating and advocating for children in a child serving system. This role focuses on supportive, non-directive support and fostering positive practices within the family, as well as providing advocacy within the system. It requires flexibility, working multiple hours, and a resource-oriented approach to help families meet their needs.
Requirements
- Provide informational and educational support on system navigation, advocacy, and rights.
- Make referrals and linkages to needed services.
- Support parent-child-family functioning and behavior.
- Maintain client records and compliance with regulations.
