Hillwood Properties is looking to hire an Assistant Service Manager at one of our multifamily properties. This individual will be responsible for assisting in organizing the maintenance programs for the property.
Requirements
- Adheres to and complies with all company safety policies and procedures
- Follows OSHA safety standards and applicable regulations for the safe performance of all job functions
- Performs hands-on maintenance to ensure apartments are market-ready, occupied units are maintained, and preventive maintenance is completed according to schedule
- Diagnoses and completes repairs in the areas of HVAC, appliances, plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, welding, carpentry, and general handyman tasks
- Installs appliances and electrical fixtures, ensuring safety and compliance with applicable codes
- Completes service requests within 24 hours whenever possible, maintaining high standards of resident satisfaction
- Maintains a clean, organized, and safe maintenance shop environment
- Communicates regularly with the Maintenance Supervisor regarding inventory needs, tools, and supplies
- Adheres to Hillwood key control procedures to ensure security of units and facilities
- Proactively reports any maintenance concerns or safety hazards to the Maintenance Supervisor or Property Manager
- Participates in the rotating on-call schedule, responding to emergencies and after-hours maintenance needs as required
- Assists in maintaining curb appeal and common area upkeep as needed
- Provides support during inspections, resident move-ins/outs, and capital improvement projects
