Youth Care Professional-11

This is the entry level position within the Detention Officer series. Incumbents initially perform routine duties assigned to positions in this series and work under the supervision of the Detention Supervisor.

Requirements

• Maintains the safety of detainees at all times
• Conducts regular checks of facilities
• Serves meals and snacks to detainees
• Restrain youth as necessary
• Perform or direct youth in housekeeping duties
