Senior Software Engineer

Role Overview

We’re seeking a full-time Senior Software Engineer in Toronto, ON (hybrid, ideally) to collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain systems that power our AI-driven platform.

What You Will Do

Develop and maintain robust backend services with a focus on scalability and performance, write clean, efficient, and well-documented code, work closely with product teams to deliver new features and enhancements, troubleshoot and optimize code for reliability and efficiency, and stay up to date on emerging technologies and integrate them where appropriate.

Requirements

• BS, MS, or PhD (or equivalent practical experience) in Computer Science or a related field
• Proficient in Python, React/Next.js (TypeScript) or Svelte, and the AWS CloudFormation stack
• Demonstrated ability to build, test, and ship features in live production environments
• Experience designing and building scalable and maintainable high-performance software
• Top-notch communication skills
• A collaborative mindset and a willingness to take full ownership of features
• The ability to write concise yet cohesive software requirements and specifications
• Familiarity with machine learning or leveraging large language models (LLMs) is a plus
