The Quality Specialist will ensure the highest standards of product and process quality within HITACHI ENERGY INDIA LIMITED by implementing, maintaining, and improving quality management systems. This role involves conducting quality inspections, analyzing quality data, and collaborating with various departments to integrate quality considerations into product development and manufacturing.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, or related field) or a relevant technical discipline.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a Quality Assurance or Quality Control role, preferably within the power, energy, or heavy manufacturing industry.
- Strong understanding and practical experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS), particularly ISO 9001.
- Proven experience with quality tools and methodologies such as Root Cause Analysis, FMEA, 8D problem-solving, Statistical Process Control (SPC), and Lean Six Sigma principles.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and experience with quality management software is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required
