RAMS Manager

Hitachi Rail is looking for a RAMS Manager / System Assurance Manager to ensure the implementation of the Hitachi Rail SRS RAMS Policy, provide support to execute business, and ensure the safety of solutions developed and deployed by Hitachi Rail SRS and compliance to safety principles, industry specific standards and best practices for the development and deployment of safety-critical systems.

Requirements

• Broad knowledge across railway Signaling systems, train control systems, fixed and moving block Signaling principles, relay-based and/or computer-based interlocking design aspects and operations
• Comprehensive knowledge of International System assurance standards (CENELEC, IEC, IEEE, MIL), best practices, safety methods and techniques (HAZID, HAZOP, PHA, SHA, OSHA, FTA, FMEA/FMECA, FSA) and hazard management
• Understanding of Systems Engineering Concepts such as decomposition/deriving requirements, traceability Matrix and able to extract technical, project, and functional requirements from tender documents, and create system, subsystem, and interface level requirements
