High School ELA Teacher (SY 2025-26)

HCPA is seeking a High School ELA Teacher for the 2025-26 school year. This role involves instructing high school students in core curriculum areas, creating a flexible learning environment, and motivating students to achieve educational goals. The teacher will support Minnesota Standards, use data-driven instructional practices, and collaborate with families and staff.

Requirements

• Current MN teaching license in elementary education (K-12)
• BA or MA teaching license or related degree
• 3+ years of teaching experience
• Strong skills in classroom presentation and management
• Knowledge of instructional technologies
• Knowledge of research and trends in teaching and student learning
• Ability to adapt instructional routines
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
• Knowledge of curriculum areas and MTEL preferred
• Knowledge of student needs and diverse learning styles
• Ability to implement classroom activities
• Knowledge of school procedures
