Job Description
HCPA is seeking a High School ELA Teacher for the 2025-26 school year. This role involves instructing high school students in core curriculum areas, creating a flexible learning environment, and motivating students to achieve educational goals. The teacher will support Minnesota Standards, use data-driven instructional practices, and collaborate with families and staff.
Requirements
- Current MN teaching license in elementary education (K-12)
- BA or MA teaching license or related degree
- 3+ years of teaching experience
- Strong skills in classroom presentation and management
- Knowledge of instructional technologies
- Knowledge of research and trends in teaching and student learning
- Ability to adapt instructional routines
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Knowledge of curriculum areas and MTEL preferred
- Knowledge of student needs and diverse learning styles
- Ability to implement classroom activities
- Knowledge of school procedures
