Painter

Role Overview

Under the direction of the manufacturing supervisor, the painter sprays surfaces of manufactured products with protective material such as thinner based or water-based paint.

What You Will Do

Verify paint requirements, select proper color, set up painting equipment, check paint quality, maintain equipment, and perform assigned duties following safe manufacturing processes.

Why It Might Be a Fit

Requires high school diploma or equivalent, basic computer skills, and ability to lift heavy objects. Must be willing to work as needed and any shift.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Six months to one-year related experience and/or training
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to read and understand shop drawings or prints
• Ability to perform basic calculations using a calculator
• Ability to read and use a tape measure
