Construction Accountant

Role Overview

Waltbillig & Hood General Contractors is seeking a Construction Accountant to maintain accounts payable records, process invoices, and ensure timely payment. The role involves working with various software, vendors, and customers. The Construction Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date records, resolving problems, and meeting deadlines.

What You Will Do

The Construction Accountant will perform various tasks, including maintaining accounts payable records, processing invoices, verifying open invoices, and distributing invoices for approval. They will also assist with payroll processing, project billings, and accounts receivable payments.

Why It Might Be a Fit

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field, with experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and customer service. Construction experience is preferred, and proficiency in Trimble Pay is a plus. The candidate should be detail-oriented, a quick learner, and able to prioritize and meet deadlines.
