We're seeking a dedicated Family Advocate to support children and families, connect them with resources, and advocate for their needs. The Family Advocate will coordinate vital services, lead outreach and enrollment efforts, and empower families through advocacy and crisis support.
Requirements
- Family Development Credential (FDC) or ability to obtain within 18 months of hire
- Degree in Social Work, Human Services, Family Services, Counseling, or related field
- 2+ years of experience working in Human Services or Early Childhood Development fields
- Proficient computer skills, including data based systems, and access to email and internet
- Knowledge of low-income communities and their unique challenges
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently or collaboratively
