Vention is a Montreal and Berlin-based company that helps manufacturers automate their operations at a rapid pace using its unique AI-driven platform designed for factories. As a Physical AI Product Manager at Vention, you will be responsible for the product roadmap of GRIIP, Vention's end-to-end Physical AI pipeline, which enables robots to perceive, reason, and act in unstructured tasks and unpredictable manufacturing environments.
Requirements
- Lead interviews to understand application requirements, functional opportunities or gaps, and real-world constraints in manufacturing environments
- Conduct comparative analyses of competing Physical AI and intelligent robotics solutions
- Perform analyses to define new product specifications and evaluate existing capability performance (perception, pose estimation, grasping intelligence, trajectory planning)
- Define and maintain the product roadmap for the entire GRIIP pipeline, including Vision Language Action (VLA) support
- Prepare detailed briefs for new AI features, including technical requirements and business logic
- Lead the preparation of quarterly product reviews
- Contribute to sales and marketing team training and support materials
- Collaborate closely with the marketing team to contribute to product launch campaigns
- Track and communicate product key performance indicators (success rate, cycle time, deployment speed, application coverage)
- Organize and prioritize the backlog of tickets across different tracks: IA/ML, perception, movement planning, and integration
- Decompose product briefs into sequenced tickets for efficient execution
- Prepare and animate sprint launches, ensuring AI and software teams understand the scope and can define implementation approaches
- Track and communicate timelines for each feature/product and measure team performance
- Perform business-side QA validations to ensure user experience alignment with Vention's platform quality
- Collaborate with software teams and HR to ensure teams have the necessary resources and expertise to deliver the annual roadmap
- Support team productivity by planning dedicated time for technical debt and bug fixing (or integrating refactoring during new feature development)
